Rocky Mountain Kananaskis Shoeshoeing Adventure

Kananaskis Country is a series of Provincial Parks within the Canadian Rocky Mountains and is within an hours drive from Calgary. Winter hiking or snowshoeing in the Kananaskis offers amazing meadows with spectacular views of rugged peaks. This is a favourite spot for locals, with fewer crowds you can fully experience the silence and solitude that can only winter can offer.

Explore Banff and Lake Louise - Family Friendly Snowshoeing Adventure

A trip to the Canadian Rocky Mountains would not be complete without a winter hiking or snowshoeing trip within Banff National Park.

Banff National Park is Canada's first National Park and is one of the parks within the "Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks" UNESCO World Heritage Site. A winter hike or snowshoe in the park offers magnificent views of spectacular meadows and rugged peaks.

The Banff and Lake Louise area is in Calgary's backyard. I have explored this area for over 40 years and cannot wait to share some of the hidden gems with you.

Some destinations offer more of a challenge for experienced hikers, while others are great for beginners. Let me know what you are looking for and I can accommodate your needs.
